Some people have asked me what I do at SNL.
Here's what I do, in example form.

Okay. The writers wanted the lightning to look like Emperor Palpatine's lightning. So I sat with the artist and explained exactly how the lightning should branch out rather than shoot in straight bolts.
That's what I do for a living.
